For a Hausdorff space \(X\) let \(2^X\) denote the set of all closed subsets of \(X\) and let \(\Delta\) be a subset of \(2^X\) closed for finite unions and containing all one-element subsets of \(X\). Endow \(2^X\) by the upper \(\Delta\)-topology \(\Delta^+\) whose base is the family \(\{(X\setminus D)^+:D\in \Delta\}\), where for \(A\subset X\), \(A^+ =\{F\in 2^X:F\subset A\}\). When \(\Delta\) is the collection of all nonempty compact subsets of \(X\), then the \(\Delta^+\)-topology is the well known cocompact topology on \(2^X\). The conditions expressed in terms of sequences of open sets and open covers under which \((2^X,\Delta^+)\) has two closure-type properties (the Reznichenko and the Pytkeev properties) or their combinations with other closure properties (countable fan tightness and countable strong fan tightness) are identified.
