The authors consider a class of linear neutral delay differential equations with positive and negative coefficients. Under some new conditions on the coefficients and the delays, which improve previous conditions, the authors establish new sufficient conditions for the existence of nonoscillatory solutions. The results are proved by using the contaction mapping. Some examples illustrating the main results are given.
