    Let \( D \) be a complete hyperbolic domain in \( {\mathbb C}^n \), \( n\geq 2 \), and let \( N \) be a compact Hermitian manifold. Denote by \( K_D(a,\cdot) \) (resp. \( \| \cdot\|_b \)) the Kobayashi norm at \( a\in D \) (resp. the Hermitian norm at \( b\in N \)). Consider a holomorphic map \( f:D\rightarrow N \) which is assumed to have a radial limit at some point \( \xi\in\partial D \). The author shows that the limit holds as a \( K \)-limit (that is, in Kobayashi approach regions) if and only if the function \( Q_f \) defined by \( Q_f(z)=\sup_{v\in{\mathbb C}^n\setminus\{0\}} \big(K_D(z,v)^{-1}\| df(z)\cdot v\|_{f(z)}\big)\) has \( K \)-limit \( 0 \) at \( \xi \).
