Solvability conditions and the related properties of solutions for convolution type integral equations with power-difference kernels are investigated. In particular, by using the properties of the Fourier transform and its connection with the Cauchy type integral the study is reduced to the analysis of the corresponding boundary value problem for analytic functions. It is shown that this integral equation is not a Fredholm type. Finally, the authors study the properties of solutions in a weighted Hilbert space.
