In the study of complex analytic singularities, the Milnor fiber plays a key role. For a complex analytic multi-singularity \(f:(\mathbb{C}^n,S)\to (\mathbb C^p,0)\) the role of the Milnor fiber is fulfilled by the disentanglement of \(f\), see earlier works of the author. The disentanglement is usually approached through the multiple point spaces of \(f\). The paper under review studies the multiple point spaces of corank 1 multi-singularities, that are constructed from simpler such ones using processes called augmentation and concatenation. Since the classification of certain multi-singularities are described via these processes, the author applies his results to these classifications. As a result, he finds that the disentanglement of a corank 1, \(A_e\)-codimension 1 map is homotopy equivalent to a sphere, the dimension of which only depends on the source and target dimensions of the germ, and its multiplicity. The author then gives examples where his computations yield examples for the Mond-conjecture (on the relation between \(A_e\)-codimension and the number of vanishing cycles).
