Homotopy properties of Hamiltonian group actions (Q2388844)

In the paper under review the authors study the homotopy type of the group \(\text{Symp}(M,\omega)\) of symplectomorphisms of a closed symplectic manifold \((M,\omega)\) onto itself. They look in fact at manifolds that admit an effective symplectic action by a compact connected Lie group \(G\) and see how much of the rational homotopy of \(G\) remains visible in \(\text{Symp} (M,\omega)\). Also some results of \textit{A. G. Reznikov} [Sel. Math. New Ser. 3, 601--642 (1997; Zbl 0903.57013)] are nicely extended.
