This paper shows that from a discrete valuation defined by an arc on a non-singular variety we obtain five kinds of subsets in the arc space of the variety. These sets are defined from mutually different view points, however the author proves that these coincide: 1. the set of arcs whose orders give the valuation; 2. the intersection of the sets corresponding to the divisors which are the exceptional divisors of the successive blow-ups with the centers of the valuation; 3. the intersection of contact loci of the ideals whose orders have assigned value; 4. the set of arcs defined by assigning the center and the functions whose orders are infinity; 5. the set of the re-parametrization of the original arcs.
