In this paper, a linear equation \(v'=A(t)v\) in a Banach space and its perturbed equation \[ v' = A(t)v + f(t, v) \] are considered. Assume that the linear evolution operator \(T(t, s)\) \((t\geq s\geq 0)\) associated with the linear equation satisfies \(\|T(t, s)\|\leq De^{\lambda(\rho(t)-\rho(s))+a\rho(s)}\) for some constants \(\lambda <0\), \(a\geq 0\), \(d\geq 1\) and an increasing differentiable function \(\rho\) with \(\lim_{t\to\infty}(\log t)/\rho(t) =0\). Assume also that the function \(f\) with \(f(t, 0)=0\) for all \(t\geq 0\) satisfies \[ \|f(t, u)-f(t, v)\| \leq c\|u-v\|(\|u\|^q + \|v\|^q) \] for some constants \(c>0\) and \(q>0\) with \(q\lambda + a<0\). Then it is proved that the solution of the perturbed equation with \(v(s) = \xi\) sufficiently close to \(0\) for sufficiently large \(s\) satisfies \(\|v(t)\| \leq D'e^{\lambda(\rho(t)-\rho(s))+a\rho(s)}\|\xi\|\; (t\geq s)\). It is also shown that for any sufficiently small perturbation \(f\), if the linear equation admits a \(\rho\)-nonuniform exponential dichotomy, then there is a stable invariant manifold for the perturbed equation.
