      Consider a \((1,1)\)-cohomology class \(\alpha\) on a compact Kähler manifold \( (X, \omega)\). The class is called \textit big \textrm if there exists a positive closed current in \(\alpha\) which is bigger than \(\epsilon \omega\), \(\epsilon >0\). In the paper [\textit{S. Boucksom} et al., Acta Math. 205, No. 2, 199--262 (2010; Zbl 1213.32025)] it is shown that given a normalized measure \(\mu\) (\(\mu (X)= \text{vol} (\alpha)\)) vanishing on pluripolar sets, one can find a closed positive current \(T_{\mu }\) in the given big class \(\alpha\) which solves the Monge-Ampère equation \[ T_{\mu }^n = \mu , \] where \(T^n\) is a wedge product. In the present paper some stability statements are proven for those solutions. If \(\mu _j , \mu\) are normalized as above and the total variation of \(\mu _j -\mu\) tends to zero, then \( T_{\mu _j}^n \to T_{\mu }^n\) in the topology of currents. If \(\theta\) is a smooth form in the class \(\alpha\), then the current \(T_{\mu } \) can be written as \(\theta +dd^c u_{\mu }\) and the Monge-Ampère equation takes the form \[ MA( u_{\mu })=\mu \] (with the solution being a function rather than a current). A function \(u\) belongs to (an energy class) \(\mathcal{E} ^1 (X, \theta )\) if \(\theta +dd^c u_{\mu }\geq 0\), \( \int _X MA(u)=\text{vol}(\alpha)\) and \(u\in L^1 (X, MA(u))\). For three such functions \(u,v,w\) with \(\sup _X u=\sup _X v\) and \(w\leq0\), one has \[ \int _X |u-v| MA (w) \leq \text{const} (n) B^2 \int _X |u-v| \big(MA (v)-MA(u)\big) \] with \(B\) depending on energies (not defined here) of \(u,v,w\). Under the extra assumption saying that \(MA(u), MA(v)\) have densities \(f,g\) with respect to \(\omega^n\) in \(L^p\), \(p>1\), it is shown that \[ ||u-v||_{L^{\infty } } \leq \text{const} \big(a \| f\|_p , \| g\| _p\big)\| f-g\|^a _{L^1 } \] for \(a<1/(2^n (n+1) -1)\).
