The author deals with the local error analysis of explicit Runge-Kutta schemes applied to initial value problems. Using the theory of rooted trees the conditions of a scheme to be of order \(p\) can be expressed in algebraic equations in the coefficients of the Runge-Kutta method. The author now rewrites these order conditions in an alternative form.
