The authors show that a function \(F: \mathbb{R}^2\to\mathbb{R}\) with continuous restrictions to all twice differentiable curves can also have a set of points of discontinuity with large 1-Hausdorff measure. Proposition 3. For every \(M\subset[0,1)\) there exists a \(C^1\) function \(h: \mathbb{R}\to\mathbb{R}\) and a nowhere dense, perfect \(P\subset(0,1)\) of measure \(M\) such that for every \(\widehat x\in P\), \(h(\widehat x)= 0\) and \[ \lim_{x\to\widehat x}\, {|h(x)- h(\widehat x(|\over (x-\widehat x)^2}= \infty. \] The main result is the following Theorem 4. Let \(h\) and \(P\) be as in Proposition 3. Then \(\widehat P= h\uparrow P\) is the set of points of discontinuity of a twice differentiable continuous function \(F: \mathbb{R}^2\to\mathbb{R}\). Moreover, \(F\) has oscillation equal 1 at every point from \(\widehat P\).
