In a joint paper by \textit{D. Piciu} and \textit{D. D. Tascau} [Adv. Pure Math. 1, No. 6, 367--377 (2011; Zbl 1260.06026)], the theory of multipliers, algebras of fractions and maximal algebras of quotients was developed for bounded commutative BCK-algebras. The aim of the authors of the paper under review is to introduce and discuss these notions in general bounded BCK-algebras. Several connections with the case of Hilbert algebras [\textit{D. Busneag}, Kobe J. Math. 5, No. 2, 161--171 (1988; Zbl 0676.06018)] are mentioned.
