In this paper, the authors study the admissible meromorphic solutions of the following second order algebraic differential equation \[ w''w-{w'}^2+aw'w+bw^2=\alpha w+\beta w'+\gamma, \] where \(a\), \(b\) are constants, \(\alpha\), \(\beta\), \(\gamma\) are meromorphic functions. In fact, they found the admissible meromorphic solutions of the above equations, i.e. the solutions satisfy the following condition \[ T(r,\alpha) +T(r,\beta)+T(r,\gamma)=T(r,w), \] where \(T(r,w)\) is the Nevanlinna characteristic function of \(w\). Then they prove that Hayman's conjecture on the growth of meromorphic solutions of algebraic differential equations is true for the following second order differential equation \[ \mu_0(f'')^2+\mu_1f''f'+\mu_2(f''f-{f'}^2)+\mu_3f'f+\mu_4f^2+\nu_1f''+\nu_2f'+\nu_3f+\nu_4=0 \] where \(\mu_i, i=0,1,2,3,4\) and \(\nu_j,j=1,2,3,4\), are constants.
