    Given a complex Banach space \(X\), the author uses \({\mathcal H}^\infty(D,X)\) to denote the Banach space of all bounded holomorphic function \(f: D\to X\) endowed with the norm \(\|f\|_\infty=\sup_{z\in D}\|f(z)\|_X\). For \(1\leq p<\infty\), the \(p\)-Bohr radius, \(r_p(X)\), of \(X\) is then defined by \[ r_p(X):=\sup\left\{r>0:\left(\sum_{n=0}^\infty\|x_n\|^pr^{np}\right)^{1/p}\leq \|f\|_\infty \text{ for all }f(z)=\sum_{n=0}^\infty x_nz^n\text{ in }{\mathcal H}^\infty(D, X)\right\}. \] If \(2\leq p<\infty\), a complex Banach space \(X\) is said to be \(p\)-uniformly \( c\)-convex if there is \(\lambda>0\) so that \[ (\|x\|^p+\lambda\|y\|^p)^{1/p}\leq \max_\theta\|x+e^{i\theta}y\| \] for all \(x,y\) in \(X\). The author shows that if \(p\geq 2\), then \(X\) is \(p\)-uniformly \( c\)-convex if and only if \(r_p(X)>0\). It is also shown that \(r_p(L^q(\mu))=0\) if \(1\leq p\leq 2\) or \(2\leq p\leq q\); \(r_p(L^q(\mu))=1\) if \(p\geq 2\) and \(p'\leq q\leq p\), and that \(0<r_p(L^q( T))<1\) if \(p\geq 2\) and \(1\leq q\leq p' \) where \(L^q( T)\) is the space of Lebesgue \(q\)-integrable functions on the unit circle \(T\).
