Let \(I\) be a segment, and \((C(I),f)\) be a dynamical system, where \(f:I\to I\) is a selfmap. Further, let \(d_H\) stand for the associated metric; and let \(({\mathcal L}_1,\dots,{\mathcal L}_4)\) denote the Lyapunov numbers attached to \(f\). The following main result is stated and proved. Theorem. Under the above setting, there exists \(J\in C(I)\) such that \({\mathcal L}_3(J)=0\). Further aspects involving the Lyapunov-stable points of \((C(I),f)\) are also discussed.
