Let \(D\subset\mathbb C^n\) be a domain, let \(A^2(D)\) denote the class of square integrable holomorphic functions on \(D\), which is a closed subspace of the Hilbert space \(L^2(D)\). Let \(\mathcal B:L^2(D)\longrightarrow A^2(D)\) be the Bergman projection. In the paper under review the author considers the Sobolev regularity of the Bergman projection of the Hartogs triangle \[ H:=\big\{(z_1,z_2)\in\mathbb C^2:|z_1|<|z_2|<1\big\}. \] Here for non-negative integer \(k\), real numbers \(p,s\) with \(p>1\), the weighted Sobolev space is defined by \[ W^{k,p}(H,\delta^s):=\big\{f\in L^1_{\mathrm{loc}}(H):\|f\|_{k,p,s}<\infty\big\}, \] where \(\delta(z)=|z_2|\) and the norm is defined by \[ \|f\|_{k,p,s}:=\Big(\int_H\sum_{|\alpha|\leq k}|D^{\alpha}_{z,\bar z}f(z)|^p|z_2|^s\,dz\Big)^{1/p} \] with \[ D^{\alpha}_{z,\bar z}:=\frac{\partial^{|\alpha|}}{\partial z_1^{\alpha_1}\partial z_2^{\alpha_2}\partial\bar z_1^{\alpha_3}\partial\bar z_2^{\alpha_4}},\quad\alpha=(\alpha_1,\dots,\alpha_4),\quad z=(z_1,z_2). \] The unweighted Sobolev space is defined by \[ W^{k,p}(H):=\big\{f\in L^1_{\mathrm{loc}}(H):\|f\|_{k,p}<\infty\big\}, \] where \[ \|f\|_{k,p}:=\Big(\int_H\sum_{|\alpha|\leq k}|D^{\alpha}_{z,\bar z}f(z)|^p\,dz\Big)^{1/p}. \] The main result of the paper is the following theorem. The Bergman projection \(\mathcal B\) on the Hartogs triangle \(H\) maps continuously from \(W^{k,p}(H)\) to \(W^{k,p}(H,\delta^{kp})\) for \(p\in(4/3,4)\).
