This is an interesting paper, not so much for new data nor new theory, but instead for its demonstration of a connection between two vastly different physical systems as defined by the paper's title. To establish the connection, the author uses an idealized ``bike'' which is an extremely simplified model of a bicycle. The ``bike'' model consists of two vertical circles whose centers are connected and where the front circle axis can change direction as long as the circle remains vertical. There is no leaning and no fork. Nevertheless, the demonstration that such a ``bike'' system can be connected to the stationary Schrödinger equation is remarkable. A question arising then is: Can any of the simplifying assumptions be removed and still have a connection or a ``near-connection''? The paper is very well written. It is likely to be of interest to both physicists and dynamicists (kinematicians).
