This article develops the investigations in [\textit{I. Marshall}, Commun. Math. Phys. 338, No. 2, 563--587 (2015; Zbl 1316.81047); the authors, Nucl. Phys., B 901, 85--114 (2015; Zbl 1332.81082)], where the deformation of the classical \(BC_n\)-Sutherland hyperbolic system was obtained by reconstructing the free system on the Heisenberg double of the Poisson-Lie group \( {\mathrm{SU}} (n, n) \). The analysis in [\textit{I. Marshall}, Commun. Math. Phys. 338, No. 2, 563--587 (2015; Zbl 1316.81047)] focused on a dense open submanifold of the reduced phase space. Although this submanifold forms a dense subset, the reduced Hamiltonian flows are complete only in the total phase space. The aim of this article is to provide a globally valid model for the corresponding reduced phase space and to complete the derivation of a Ruijsenaars-type system that appears as a reduction of the natural free system on the Heisenberg double \( {\mathrm{SU}}(n, n) \). The obtained results allows to investigate together the duality aspects of the cases \({\mathrm{SU}} (n, n)\) and \({\mathrm{SU}} (2n)\). The technical implementation of this problem is a challenging open problem.
