Motivated by the famous Onsager conjecture, it has been shown that the Euler system has nontrivial Hölder continuous solutions compactly supported in time [\textit{T. Buckmaster} et al., Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 69, No. 9, 1613--1670 (2016; Zbl 1351.35109)]. The authors construct continuous solutions of the Boussinesq system for the incompressible inviscid flow with temperature effects which have compact support both in space and time. They use the framework of a convex integration method combined with a control of interactions between velocity and temperature.
