In [Homology Homotopy Appl. 15, No. 2, 103--125 (2013; Zbl 1281.55012)], \textit{N. Koceić Bilan} and \textit{N. Uglesić} generalized the Whitehead theorem for coarse shape theory. In this paper the authors study weak coarse shape equivalences for metric compact connected spaces and give conditions such that the infinite dimensional Whitehead theorem holds for coarse shape theory. The authors define paradomination and give a characterization of this notion. A weak coarse shape equivalence to a pointed movable space is a paradomination (Theorem 3.11). Finally they define the simultaneous movability of two spaces \((X,x)\) and \((Y,y)\) according to a coarse shape morphism \(F^*\) and prove that a weak coarse shape equivalence between pointed continuum spaces is a coarse shape equivalence provided the two spaces are simultaneously movable according to \(F^*\).
