By using the Banach contraction theorem and coincide degree theory, the existence of periodic and almost periodic solutions of a delay differential system with time-varying coefficients is established. This system is considered as a model to study the influence of temporary migration on the transmission of infectious diseases in migrant workers' home residence. Moreover, some global stability results are also given by means of a Liapunov functional.
