Locally strongly primitive semigroups of nonnegative matrices (Q2405037)

Continuing the results given by the same authors in [J. Math. Sci., New York 207, No. 5, 674--685 (2015; Zbl 1332.15090); translation from Zap. Nauchn. Semin. POMI 428, 13--31 (2014)], in this paper it is shown that if an imprimitive nonnegative matrix in Frobenius form is raised to a sufficiently high power, then all its nonzero blocks are positive. Consequently, a combinatorial criterion of locally strong primitivity of a semigroup of nonnegative matrices can be formulated. The definitions and the proofs use only combinatorial properties of nonnegative matrices.
