On pairwise \(k\)-semi-stratifiable spaces (Q2405079)

The authors introduce the notion of pairwise \(k\)-semi-stratifiable bitopological spaces as a generalization of pairwise stratifiable [\textit{A. Gutiérrez} and \textit{S. Romaguera}, Rev. Roum. Math. Pures Appl. 31, 141--150 (1986; Zbl 0615.54024)] and pairwise semi-stratifiable [\textit{J. A. Martín-Alustiza} et al., in: Proc. 11th Span.-Port. Conf. Math., Badajoz/Spain 1986, Vol. 2, Publ. Dep. Mat. Univ. Extremadura 18, 243--251 (1987; Zbl 0647.54027)] bitopological spaces. Their main results concern characterizations of these spaces in terms of (lower and upper) semi-continuous mappings, extensions, and pairwise \(g\)-functions. Improving a result by \textit{J. Marín} [Topology Appl. 156, No. 18, 3070--3076 (2009; Zbl 1178.54013)], the authors give relations with quasi-pseudo-metrizability.
