    The authors motivation is to describe with probabilistic tools the long time behavior of a neuron embedded in a network. They describe the neuron by the stochastic Hodgkin-Huxley system. This paper is somewhat a continuation of two previous papers by the same authors (see [ESAIM, Probab. Stat. 20, 527--554 (2016; Zbl 1355.60104); Ann. Inst. Henri Poincaré, Probab. Stat. 52, No. 1, 483--501 (2016; Zbl 1335.60091)]). Their main goal is to show that such systems possess Lebesgue densities and to address properties of the support of their law.
