Let \(\{f_t(z)\}\) be a family of polynomial functions of \(n\) complex variables \(z=(z_1, \dots, z_n)\) with line singularities in \(\mathbb C^n\), \(n\geq 5\). Then the author proves that if \(\{f_t(z)\}\) has a uniform stable radius in the sense of [\textit{M. Oka}, J. Math. Soc. Japan 34, 541--549 (1982; Zbl 0476.32016)], then the Lê numbers of \(f_t\) are independent of \(t\) for all small \(t\). It follows from [\textit{J. Fernández de Bobadilla}, Adv. Math. 248, 1199--1253 (2013; Zbl 1284.32018)] that the family is topologically trivial if Lê numbers are constant. Therefore, \(\{f_t(z)\}\) is topologically trivial if it has a uniform stable radius. The author also proves that if each \(f_t\) is a weighted homogeneous polynomial with respect to a fixed weight system, and if the nearby fibers \(V(f_t-\eta)\), \(\eta\neq 0\), are ``uniformly'' nonsingular with respect to the parameter \(t\), then the family \(\{f_t(z)\}\) has a uniform stable radius.
