Path integrals on manifolds with boundary (Q2406836)

The author gives time-slicing formulas for solutions of the heat equation that correspond to a self-adjoint Laplace type operator acting on sections of a vector bundle over a compact Riemannian manifold with boundary. That is such solution can be approximated by integrals over finite-dimensional path spaces of piecewise geodesics subordinated to increasingly fine partitions of the time interval. A subclass of mixed boundary conditions that includes the standard Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions is considered in this paper.
