The authors call \(f: \mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}^N\to\mathbb{R}^M\) a ``Carathéodory function'' if \(f\) is Borel measurable, \(t\mapsto f(t,u)\) is majorized by some \(L^p_{\text{loc}}\) function, uniformly for \(u\) running over compact subsets of \(\mathbb{R}^N\), and \(u\mapsto f(t,u)\) is continuous on \(\mathbb{R}^N\) for almost all \(t\in\mathbb{R}\). Starting from the pioneering work by \textit{R. K. Miller} and \textit{G. Sell} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 74, 904--908 (1968; Zbl. 0167.40803); Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 102, 67 p. (1970; Zbl. 0202.38701)], several authors have introduced various topologies of \(L^p_{\text{loc}}\)-type to study the behavior of solutions of nonautonomous Carathéodory differential equations. Here the authors propose new topologies which are constructed by means of special moduli of continuity and apply them to results on the continuous dependence of solutions on initial data.
