One generalization of the theorem of Gross-Zagier is proposed by Gan-Gross-Prassad and the third author [\textit{W. T. Gan} et al., Astérisque 346, 1--109 (2012; Zbl 1280.22019); \textit{W. Zhang}, Invent. Math. 188, No. 1, 197--252 (2012; Zbl 1247.14031); \textit{W. Zhang}, ``Relative trace formula and arithmetic Gross-Prasad conjecture'', Preprint (2009)] inspired by the usual Gan-Cross-Prasad conjecture relating period integrals on classical groups to special values of certain \(L\)-functions. For this conjecture \textit{H. Jacquet} and \textit{S. Rallis} [Clay Math. Proc. 13, 205--264 (2011; Zbl 1222.22018)] proposed a relative trace formula approach, in the case of unitary groups, and they formulated a fundamental lemma and smooth transfer conjecture. These conjectures are proved to a large extend by several authors. In [loc. cit., Zbl 1247.14031], the third author proposed a relative trace formula approach to the arithmetic Gan-Gross-Prasad conjecture and formulated the arithmetic fundamental lemma conjecture, see [\textit{M. Rapoport} et al., Compos. Math. 149, No. 10, 1631--1666 (2013; Zbl 1300.11069); \textit{W. Zhang}, loc. cit., Zbl 1247.14031]. The arithmetic fundamental lemma conjecture relates the special value of the derivative of an orbital integral to arithmetic intersection of Rapoport-Zink formal moduli space of \(p\)-divisible groups attached to a unitary group. Only special cases of this conjecture are proved in the literature. In this article, an arithmetic transfer analogue of the smooth transfer conjecture is addressed. Although the unitary group is ramified, surprisingly, the corresponding Rapoport-Zink moduli space is smooth. This arithmetic transfer analogue is proved by the authors in this article for \(n=3\).
