This is Part II of the paper [the author, Asymptotic Anal. 85, No. 1--2, 29--74 (2013; Zbl 1278.49008)]. Based upon the results in Part I, the author provides existence theorems for initial value problems with general nonlinear evolutions. The results are applied to parabolic, hyperbolic, Schrödinger, Navier-Stokes and other time-dependent system equations. The results are based upon a variational approach. Assuming some growth and coercivity conditions, it is shown that every critical point of the energy is a solution of the considered Cauchy problem.
