The authors prove that any Hadamard manifold \(N\) of dimension \(n\ge 3\) admits -- under some natural curvature assumptions -- a \textit{Poincaré model}, that is a Riemannian metric \(g\) in the unit ball \(B\subset\mathbb{R}^n\) for which \(N\) is isometric to \((B, g)\), such that any rectifiable (in the Euclidean sense) curve \(\Gamma\) on the unit sphere \(S = \partial B\) is contained in the boundary \(\partial u(D)\), \(D\subset\mathbb{R}^2\) being the unit disc immersed minimally into \((B, g)\) by a map \(u:B\to D\) of the Sobolev class \(H^{1,2}\). Additional convexity assumptions for \(N\) allow to claim that \(\Gamma = \partial u(D)\).
