On variational inequalities over polyhedral sets (Q2413088)

In this paper the reader can find a new approach based on polyhedral geometry to the uniqueness and the Lipschitz behavior of solutions of variational inequalities over polyhedral sets defined as follows \(z\in \Phi (x)=Ax+N_C(x)\), where \(z\in \mathbb R^n\) is given, \(A:\mathbb R^n \to \mathbb R^n\) is linear and \(C\subseteq \mathbb{R}^n\) polyhedral. Earlier results due to Robinson, Ralph, and Dontchev and Rockafellar are reproven in a simpler manner, that delivers as a byproduct some geometrical insights to the considered problems.
