Consider the weakly coupled system \[ \begin{aligned} {dx_s\over dt} &= X_s(x_s,y_s)+ \varepsilon\widetilde X_s(\varepsilon,x_1,y_1,x_2,y_2,t),\\ {dy_s\over dt} &= Y_s(x_s,y_s)+ \varepsilon\widetilde Y_s(\varepsilon,x_1,y_1,x_2,y_2,t),\quad s= 1,2,\end{aligned}\tag{\(*\)} \] where all functions are sufficiently smooth, the functions \(\widetilde X_s\) and \(\widetilde Y_s\) are \(2\pi\)-periodic in \(t\). It is assumed that each of the unperturbed autonomous subsystems has a one-parameter family of periodic orbits. The author derives conditions such that the perturbed system \((*)\) for sufficiently small \(\varepsilon\) has a unique stable \(2\pi\)-periodic solution which bifurcates from a \(2\pi\)-periodic solution of the unperturbed system.
