New dual sufficient conditions formulated by means of coderivatives and normal cones are provided for guaranteeing the Hölder metric subregularity of a certain constraint system in Asplund space and for estimating its modulus. The theoretical results are then applied for studying the relations between the higher order growth condition of an unconstraint minimization problem and the Hölder metric subregularity property of the related constraint system.
