Let \(P\) be a finite \(p\)-group and let \(\mathcal O\) be a discrete valuation ring with the residue field \(k\) of characteristic \(p>0\). Then an \(\mathcal OP\)-lattice reduces \(\bmod p\) to a \(kP\)-module, and it is known that all endo-permutation \(kP\)-modules can be obtained this way. Moreover, this procedure induces a morphism on the Dade groups, giving rise to a surjective map \(\pi:D_\mathcal O(P)\to D_k(P)\) between the Dade groups of endo-permutation modules over \(\mathcal O\) and \(k\). The current paper constructs a section of \(\pi\). If \(p>2\), then a section can be given by taking \(\mathcal OP\)-lattices where all elements in \(P\) act with determinant \(1\). This does not work if \(p=2\), so some classification result is used to define sections of \(\pi\).
