Homotopy investigation of classifying spaces of cobordisms of singular maps (Q2416480)

The study of cobordism classes of singular maps reduces via the Pontrjagin-Thom construction to the computation of homotopy classes of maps to an appropriate classifying space. There are two different constructions for the classifying space, and the paper establishes a connection between them. One construction is called glueing procedure. It follows the hierarchy (a partial order based on how complicated the strata are) of the local singularities. The second construction provides a classifying space of a fibration.
