The author proves a conjecture of Wood by showing that the extension property holds for the alphabet \(\mathbb{Z}_m\), \(m \geq 2\), with the Lee and Euclidean weights for every integer \(m \geq 2\). Specifically, the author shows that any isometry of the code with respect to the Lee or Euclidean weight extends to an isometry of the ambient space \(\mathbb{Z}_m^n\).
