The authors prove a sharp decoupling for a class of three-dimensional manifolds in \(\mathbb{R}^5\). They follow the approach recently developed by the first author with \textit{J. Bourgain} [Ann. Math. (2) 182, No. 1, 351--389 (2015; Zbl 1322.42014); J. Anal. Math. 133, 279--311 (2017; Zbl 1384.42016)]. One of the goals of this work is to overcome the difficulties resulting from the lack of an appropriate notion of curvature for the manifolds that are neither curves nor hypersurfaces.
