A near-ring is a non empty set \(N\) with two binary operations``\(+\)'' and ``\(\cdot\)'' such that 1) \((N, +)\) is a group; 2) \((N,\cdot)\) is a semigroup; and 3) \(x\cdot(y + z) = x\cdot y + x\cdot z \) for all \(x, y, z \in N\) [\textit{S. Abou-Zaid}, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 44, No. 1, 139--146 (1991; Zbl 0772.16018)]. In this paper, the authors define a new notion of interval valued fuzzy weak bi-ideals of near-rings, which is a generalized concept of interval valued fuzzy ideals of near rings. The authors also investigate some of its properties with examples. Reviewer's remark: The authors do not explain what the operation ``\(\ast\)'' in Definition 2.3 is.
