This paper is concerned with examples of $\mathcal{U}$- and $\mathcal{V}$-sets for the series of characters of the Cartesian power of a zero-dimensional compact abelian group. Basic related results for trigonometric series are given in [\textit{A. S. Kechris} and \textit{A. Louveau}, Descriptive set theory and the structure of sets of uniqueness. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (1987; Zbl 0642.42014)]. The most known examples of zero-dimensional compact abelian groups are the Cantor dyadic group, for which the dual group is the classical Walsh system, and the group of\, $p$-adic integers.
