The aim of this paper is to finish the study developed by the author in the paper [Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. 36, No. 1, 171--215 (2016; Zbl 1318.34077)] where, studying the cyclicity of the origin in the slow-fast codimension 3 bifurcations, the birth of canards in a non-Liénard slow-fast Hopf point of center type is encountered. The very degenerate codimension 3 bifurcations given by \[ \dot x=y \] \[ \dot y=-xy+\epsilon\big( b_0+b_1x+b_2x^2\pm x^3+x^4\tilde H(x,\lambda)+y^2G(x,y,\lambda) \big) \] serve as an important starting point and a ``stepping stone'' to detect the birth of canards in the slow-fast codimension 3 saddle and elliptic bifurcations. Here \(\epsilon\geq0\) (\(\epsilon\approx0\)), \(\lambda\) are the parameters (singular and regular perturbation, respectively), \((b_0,b_1,b_2)\approx(0,0,0)\) and \(G\), \(\tilde H\) are \(C^{\infty}\)-smooth, \(\tilde H(0,\lambda)\neq0\). The geometric singular perturbation theory and the family blow-up are used as the main analytical tool.
