\textit{G. E. Andrews} et al. [Res. Number Theory 1, Paper No. 19, 25 p. (2015; Zbl 1386.11108)] investigated the generating function of partitions with repeated (resp. distinct) parts such that each odd part is less than twice the smallest part. \textit{G. E. Andrews} et al. [Ramanujan J. 43, No. 2, 347--357 (2017; Zbl 1421.11083)] studied arithmetic properties of the above partition functions and presented congruences mod\,2, mod\,4, and mod\,8. In the paper under review, the authors consider \(p_\omega(n,k)\), resp. \(p_\nu(n,k)\), the restrictions of the above functions, where \(k\) is the number of parts. For \(\alpha_\nu(k)= \text{lcm}(1,2,3,4,\dots, 2k-1)\) and \(\alpha_\omega(k)= \text{lcm}(1,3,5,\dots, 2k-1)\), they prove the following results: Let \(k>0\) be an integer and \(p\ge k\) a prime. Then, for all \(n>\alpha_\omega(k)p-k^2+k\), \(p_\omega(n,k)\equiv p_\omega(n -\alpha_\omega(k)p, k)\pmod p\). Let \(k>0\) be an integer and \(p\ge k+1\) a prime. Then, for all \(n>\alpha_\nu(k)p-k\), \(p_\nu(n,k)\equiv p_\nu(n- \alpha_\nu(k)p, k)\pmod p\). These results give infinitely many Ramanujan-type congruences for the partition functions in question.
