The well-known Woods-Robbins formula is the infinite product \[\prod_{n\ge 0}\left(\frac{2n+1}{2n+2}\right)^{(-1)^{t_n}}=\frac{1}{2}\frac{4}{3}\frac{6}{5}\frac{7}{8}\frac{10}{9}\cdots\] involving the Thue-Morse sequence \((t_n)\) over \(\{0,1\}\) and which evaluates to \(\sqrt{2}/2\). In this paper, the authors investigate similar formulas with other rational functions leading to known constants but they also consider products of the form \(\prod_{n\ge 0}R(n)^{{t_n}}\) with exponents in \(\{0,1\}\) instead of \(\{-1,1\}\). After presenting some general results on convergence, they exhibit dozen of such nice formulas. In the last section, as a first step toward generalization to sequences counting certain patterns in the base-\(b\) expansion of integers, instead of the Thue-Morse sequence, they consider the Rudin-Shapiro (or, Golay-Shapiro) sequence as exponent.
