Given an $n$-dimensional Riemannian manifold $(M, g)$, the $k$-th GJMS (Graham-Jenne-Mason-Sparling) operator is defined as \[ P_g=\Delta^k+\text{lower order terms},\quad 2k< n, \] where $\Delta$ stands for the Laplace-Beltrami operator on $M$. The authors obtain multiplicity and nonexistence results for the equation \[ P_g(u)=B(x)u^{2^{\#}-1}+\dfrac{A(x)}{u^{2^{\#}+1}}+\dfrac{C(x)}{u^p},\quad u>0 \] with $2^{\#}=\frac{2n}{n-2k}$, $p>1$ and positive and smooth $A,B,C$.
