In this paper, the authors prove some results regarding homogeneous $(\alpha,\beta)$-metric and they prove that an $(\alpha,\beta)$-metric is a stretch metric if and only if it is a Berwald metric. As applications, the authors show that every R-quadratic or generalized Landsberg homogeneous $(\alpha,\beta)$-metrics is Berwaldian. The paper is interesting and worth to be studied by those interested in Finsler geometry.
