The algebraic and geometric classification of nilpotent Novikov algebras (Q2422452)

The authors completely classify \(4\)-dimensional Novikov algebras; i.e., \(4\)-dimensional algebras over \(\mathbb{C}\) defined by the identities \[(xy)x=(xz)y\] \[(xy)z-x(yz)=(yx)z-y(xz)\] The results from this paper, as the authors clearly point out in the introduction, were already known [\textit{D. Burde} and \textit{W. de Graaf}, Appl. Algebra Eng. Commun. Comput. 24, No. 1, 1--15 (2013; Zbl 1301.17023)]. This work also seems to overlap, although the authors do not seem to be aware of this fact, with [\textit{H. An} and \textit{F. Xie}, J. Liaoning Norm. Univ., Nat. Sci. 36, No. 4, 462--466 (2013; Zbl 1299.17029)].
