\textit{E. Asplund} and \textit{B. Grünbaum} [Enseign. Math. (2) 6, 299--306 (1960; Zbl 0102.36804)] extended the three-circle theorem and the Feuerbach circle to strictly convex, smooth Minkowski planes. The authors of the present paper expand the results of ibidem to strictly convex, not nessarily smooth Minkowski planes. Using the three-circle theorem the authors define the concept ``\(\mathcal C\)-orthocenter'' (\(\mathcal C\) denotes the unit circle of the regarded Minkowski plane). A set of four points, one of which is the \(\mathcal C\)-orthocenter of the other three is called \(\mathcal C\)-orthocentric system. Among others the authors prove: {\parindent=6mm \begin{itemize}\item[(1)] If \(\{p_1,p_2,p_3,p_4\}\) is a \(\mathcal C\)-orthocentric system in a strictly convex Minkowski plane and if \(x_i\) is the circumcenter and if \(m_i\) is the centroid of the triangle \(p_jp_kp_l\), where \(\{i,j,k,l\}=\{1,2,3,4\}\), then \(\{x_1,x_2,x_3,x_4\}\) and \(\{m_1,m_2,m_3,m_4\}\) are also \(\mathcal C\)-orthocentric systems. \item[(2)] For any triangle with \(\mathcal C\)-orthocenter in a strictly convex Minkowski plane holds the following: A vector determined by one of the vertices and the \(\mathcal C\)-orthocenter, is James orthogonal to the opposite triangle side. \end{itemize}} The authors present new theorems on the Feuerbach circle which occurs in such Minkowski planes only as six-point circle. In the Euclidean plane holds for a quadrangle with perpendicular diagonals the so-called eight-point circle theorem. This theorem is extended by the authors to all Minkowski planes. The elegant proofs of the paper are accompanied by ten very illustrative and helpful figures.
