Computations with half-range Chebyshev polynomials (Q2428095)

Half-range Chebyshev polynomials are orthogonal with the same weight functions as the classical Chebyshev polynomials of first and second kind, but on \([0,\,1]\) instead of \([-1,\,1]\). These orthogonal polynomials were introduced by \textit{D. Huybrechs} [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 47, No. 6, 4326--4355 (2010; Zbl 1209.65153)]. In this paper, some properties of half-range Chebyshev polynomials are shown. Further, the derivative and the product of half-range Chebyshev-Fourier sums are efficiently computed.
