If a reciprocal polynomial has only one zero \(\beta\) outside the unit circle, then it is necessarily real, and apart from \(\beta\) and \(\beta^{-1}\) all other zeros are on the unit circle. Using earlier methods of the author [Acta Math. Hung. 131, No. 3, 285--294 (2011; Zbl 1240.30029)], sufficient conditions are given for a reciprocal polynomial to have all but two zeros on the unit circle. These conditions are formulated using the coefficients of the polynomial.
