Universal lifting theorem and quasi-Poisson groupoids (Q2428715)

This paper proves a universal lifting theorem and studies the properties of quasi-Poisson groupoids. The main purpose of the authors is to investigate various integration problems from a general perspective. In the first part of the paper, they concentrate on the case of a alpha-simply connected and alpha-connected Lie groupoid with Lie algebroid \(A\). They prove in that case a universal lifting theorem which enables them to solve the integration problem for a quasi-Lie bialgebroid. In the second part, they apply their result to study quasi-Poisson groupoids and quasi-Lie bialgebroids. They also consider the case of a Manin triple with a complete Poisson group \(G\) and recover the well-known momentum map of Alekseev and Kosmann-Schwarzbach.
