The authors extend and generalize three Grüss-type inequalities by using the time scale calculus and the diamond-alpha integrals. The diamond-alpha integral on time scales is introduced in Section 2. The diamond-alpha Grüss-type inequality on time scales given in Theorem 3.4 in [\textit{M. R. Sidi Ammi} and \textit{D. F. M. Torres}, J. Math. Sci., New York 161, No. 6, 792--802 (2009; Zbl 1185.26065)] is generalized in Section 3. Other Grüss-type inequalities (concerning Lipschitzian mappings or \(M\)-\(g\)-Lipschitzian mapping) known in the continuous time case from Theorems 2.1 and 4.1 in [\textit{S. S. Dragomir}, Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 31, No. 4, 397--415 (2000; Zbl 0962.26008)] are given in Sections 4 and 5. All established inequalities are presented also in their special forms for differential, difference, and quantum calculus.
